Richard T. Kornprobst

Kornprobst – Richard T., “Dick”, 72, of Geistown, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on April 14, 1943 in Johnstown, son of the late Harry M. and Lucille D. (Lubinsky) Kornprobst. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Christine (Miske) Kornprobst; brother, Dennis, married to the former Pamela Kendig, Elizabethtown, PA; mother-in-law, Betty Miske; brother-in-law, Steve (Suzanne) Miske, Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Paulette Miske-Brown; nephews, Dennis Kornprobst Jr., and Eric Brown; nieces, Sarah Kornprobst, Heather Brown-Purvis, Kimberly Miske-Lacy, Melissa Miske, and best fur friend, Colby. Dick was a 1961 graduate of Richland High School. He was employed at Gee Bee Department Store and Bethlehem Steel for several years and later retired from M. Glossers and Sons after 25 years of service. Dick was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. He enjoyed Duck Pin Bowling and spending time on the front porch with his best friend, Colby. Dick was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
