Survived by loving children, son David married to the former Joan Pekala and daughter Linda, wife of Wayne Krause, both of Richland Township. Rhea was blessed with three grandsons, Adam Krause, Michael and wife Amy (Moreland) Krause, all of Reading, PA; and Travis Barker and fiancé Tiffany Holmes of Pittsburgh. She also was blessed on March 23, 2014 with her great granddaughter, Addison Marie Krause, daughter of Michael and Amy. She is also survived by brother-in-law Clair and sister-in-law Florence Barker; brother-in-law Donald Barker and several nieces and nephews. Rhea graduated from Ferndale High School in 1943 and then went on to graduate from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. She worked in the offices of Dr. Raymond and Dr. Brierton. Rhea was so proud to be a nurse. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hornerstown and played a big part in her church. Rhea loved her church life and was a volunteer for many years at the Allegheny Lutheran Home. She enjoyed many summers as camp nurse at Camp Sequanota. As our mother grew older, David and I have met and known many people in which our mom has touched their lives with love and kindness. Rhea was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a fun and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. We will miss her tremendously. We want to say a special thank you to all of those at Arbutus Park Manor who lovingly cared for Rhea, and a special thank you to her wonderful roommate Lois Weimer.
