Yeager, Reginald J., “Sparky”, 82, of Geistown Borough. Died peacefully on Feb 14, 2019, at Arbutus Park Manor. Son of the late John B. and Helen (Malia) Yeager. Also preceded in death by daughter Sharon Yeager Lohr. Survived by wife of 62 years, Joan M. (Sedlock) Yeager: Sons Michael P. (Dawn), and Edward J. (Zina) Yeager. Grandchildren: Jacqueline (John) Holbay, Ashley (Mike) Becker, Adam (Haley) Natta, Julie (Jot) Shoemaker, Alexandra Yeager, Spencer Talbott. Great Grandchildren: Lydia, Kora, Joseph, Illyana, Gabriella, Abraham, Thomas Holbay, Ian, Emily Shoemaker, Haley, Kelsey, Owen Becker, Charlotte Natta. Brother of Donald F. (Leanna) Yeager. Retired crane operator from steel making dept of Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral; Life member with 38 years’ service to the Geistown- Richland Lions Club where he served as Past District Governor; Past President and Secretary. Sparky received the Melvin Jones Fellow, PA Lions Foundation Award, and the Joseph L. Wroblewski Award. He also served on the State and District 14-J Committees. Sparky spent his life volunteering his time and talents to family and community. Also, past volunteer fireman. Many will remember him delivering fish dinners for the Geistown Volunteer Fire Dept.  He also loved good food, fishing, hiking with Ed and his love of Lionel Trains. Friends received 2-7 pm Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where Vigil service will be held and Lions Memorial Service will be held at 6:45 pm Monday.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Tuesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. V. Rev. James Crookston. Pastor. Committal at Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care Sparky received by the staff of Arbutus West Wing, especially Natalie; and Elaine from Windber Hospice.
