Rebecca P. "Becky" Havener

Havener, Rebecca P. “Becky”, 91, of East Conemaugh Borough, passed away on August 18, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on July 22, 1919 in Park Hill. Daughter of Clarence W. and Caroline R. (Thornton) Cooper. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles C., Carl E. and William H. Havener. She is survived by her loving sons, Ralph W. married to the former Barbara, Helsel, Vinco and Terry J. Havener, Johnstown; sister, Helen Larnek, Ebensburg; grandson, Stephen J. Havener, Vinco; great grandson, Tyler, Richland and several nieces, nephews, including special nephew, John Allison, Johnstown. Becky was a graduate of Franklin High School and also Hammonds Beauty School, Johnstown. She was owner and operator of Becky’s Beauty Salon. Becky was a member of Conemaugh First United Methodist Church and in her earlier years enjoyed singing in the choir. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Cleo Carr officiating. Interment will be at Headrick Union Cemetery.
