Raymond E. Dellavecchia

Dellavecchia – Raymond E., 82, Davidsville, died on June 20, 2016 at Laurel View Village. Born on August 27, 1933 in Manteca, CA. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth E. (Mangus) Dellavecchia, Davidsville; sons, R. Guy Dellavecchia and his wife, Chiharu, San Jose, CA, David W. Dellavecchia, Los Gatos, CA, and Mark A. Dellavecchia, Campbell, CA. Raymond was a graduate of Manteca High School and Modesto Junior College and later attended San Francisco State University in CA. He was a US Army Veteran. Raymond and his wife traveled extensively throughout the world, including all 7 continents. He also enjoyed golfing and sports. Raymond will be remembered for his sense of humor, but most of all his deep love for his family. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday (July 9, 2016) at Laurel View Village Chapel with the Rev. Jeffery Bassette, officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to Laurel View Village Caring Fund in memory of Raymond.
