Ray C McMinn

McMinn, Ray C., 57, of Johnstown, passed away on February 23, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 24, 1953 in Johnstown. Son of Edgar C. “Ed” and Betty Jane “Bossie” (Jurich) McMinn. Preceeded in death by parents and ex-wife, Stephanie A. Adams. Survived by loving daughters, Heather A. wife of Brian Detch, Evans City, Tiffany L. McMinn and fiancé, Jeffrey A. Mickel, Irwin, PA, Nicole M. McMinn and special friend, Los Dudley, Johnstown, and Rae A. McMinn, East Conemaugh; grandchildren, Alicia A. and Emily J. Detch; siblings, John married to the former Lynne Harmon, Vacaville, CA, and Wayne formerly married to JoAnn Gorman both of Johnstown, Diane Williams, Estelle Manor, NJ and Joseph Barbus, Conemaugh and several nieces and nephews. Ray was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. He was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church; Conemaugh PNA Group # 1569. Ray was an avid Steeler’s fan and enjoyed shooting pool and throwing darts. Friends received 2 P.M. until time of Prayer Service at 5 P.M. on Monday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Very Reverend Frank P. Miloro.
