R. Scott Burnheimer

Burnheimer - R. Scott, 45, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2014 in his sleep after battling various health issues. Born on January 4, 1969 in Johnstown, son of the late Walter E and Dorothy A (McCloskey) Burnheimer. He is survived by his brothers,  David M., married to the former Sandra M Halza, Richland township, Ronald W., married to Molly Sheeran, Oakhurst, CA., and Richard J., married to  Kim Roivas, Broadlands, VA., and 10 nieces and nephews. Scott attended  Johnstown VO Tech and St Benedicts Elementary. He was employed as a OTR truck driver for 26 years for various trucking companies. He was a member of  V-Max of PA Motorcycle Club and was a diehard Steelers fan. At Scotts request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service at 11AM, on Monday, June 30, at St Joseph Cemetery (next to St. Benedict Catholic Church), Fr. David S.Peles, Pastor. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of  your choice in Scott’s memory. On line condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome .com.
