Koontz, Phyllis L., 91, of Richland. Died June 16, 2014 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Feb. 14, 1923, in Bedford. Daughter of the late C. Raymond and Marie (Feaster) Amick. Also preceded in death by husband, Charles R. Koontz, Jr. in 1991; sister, Nancy Ann Amick; sisters-in law, Ruie Amick, Marjorie Leventry and Joan Raab. Survived by daughters: Ann M., wife of Thomas J. Pastovic, Johnstown; and Kimberly J., wife of Richard E. Patterson, Lititz, PA. Grandchildren, Lauren (Daniel) Palmisano and Stephanie Pastovic; great grandchildren, Mason, Xander and Willow Palmisano. Sister of Donald Amick, Fishertown; and brother-in-law, Dr. David Raab, Lancaster. Graduate of Conemaugh Valley Hospital School of Nursing. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Bedford Springs Chapter #41, Order of Eastern Star. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 9:30  to 10:30 AM Thursday, time of service at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Pastors Custead, officiating. Interment at Fishertown Cemetery. Those who wish may donate to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or Crossroads Wing at Arbutus Manor in memory of Phyllis.
