Brubaker – Phyllis M., “Nana”, 97, Davidsville, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, PA. Born on May 27, 1924 in Johnstown, daughter of C. Paul and Ruth (Campbell) Heinze. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 69 years, Robert E. Brubaker; grandsons, David E. Brubaker, Ben and Tommy Brubaker; brother, Robert Heinze and a sister, Charlotte Hernandez. She is survived by her loving children, Barry R. (Joan), Franklin TN, Karen (Peter) Wright, Williamsport, MD, Ronald P. (Jena), Monroe, LA, and Richard L. (Gloria), Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Susan (Clarke) Oldham, Sam (Dana) Wright, Julia (Patrick) Truby, Jeff (Maria) Brubaker, and Sara (Brian) Hendrix; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Natalie Zerby and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a 1942 graduate of Richland High School. She was employed as an office typist in Washington DC during the war before she was married. Phyllis devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Phyllis enjoyed sewing, knitting and gardening. She and her late husband, Bob traveled the world together and loved having family reunions. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Adam Dotts officiating. Private interment will be at Richland Cemetery.
