Phyllis H. Bader

Bader, Phyllis H., 92, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on Mar. 23, 2015 at Conemaugh Medical. Born on February 23, 1923 in Johnstown, Daughter of Luther W. and Margaret E. (Dougherty) Harris. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Charles C. Bader; siblings, Ida Mae Faith, Hazel Mottern, Lester Harris, Robert G. Harris, Donald L. Harris, Naomi Blough; and Erma, Paul, and Norman in childhood. She is survived by her loving children, Linda K., wife of H. Martin Cole, Middletown, MD; and Cheryl J., wife of Miles M. Stanley, Davidsville; grandchildren, Matthew M., (Sarah) Stanley, Lilly, PA, Jennifer M. Stanley, Bloomfield, PA; great grandchildren, Issak and Ella Stanley, both of Lilly, PA and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was employed for years as a seamstress at the former Richmond Brothers. Phyllis was a former long-time member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, shopping and traveling with her late husband, Charles. Phyllis loved her entire family and will be missed by all that knew her. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Peter Nordlund,  officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Johnstown Christian School, 125 Christian School Rd., Hollsopple, PA 15935 in memory of Phyllis.
