Peggy L. Schmalz

Schmalz, Peggy L., “Peg”, 81, of Parkhill, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2015, at The Atrium. She was born on October 20, 1933 in Johnstown. Daughter of James W. and Margaret T. (Jordan) Stauffer. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert G. Schmalz; siblings, Robert, Dennis, Leroy, Ronnie, and Donnie. Survived by son, Albert Oakman, Parkhill; several grandchildren; sister, Bonnie J., Cruse, Jackson Township and several nieces and nephews. Peg was a self employed upholsterer for over 40 years in Johnstown and also worker as a bar tender for several years at the former Iron Horse in East Conemaugh. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her late husband, Al. Friends will be received for 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, East Conemaugh, with the Rev. John H. Weaver officiating.
