Pearl M. Kassick

KASSICK---Pearl M., 91, East Conemaugh Borough, passed away August 11, 2018. Born April 12, 1927, in Portage, daughter of Andrew L. and Mary (Karsnyak) Zatek. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George “York” Kassick; daughter Deborah M. Yesenosky; brothers, Andrew, John, Paul, Edward and Leonard; sisters, Margaret Yarosh, Clara Richards and Rita Zaremski. Survived by son, Andrew, married to the former Patricia Mitnik, East Conemaugh; grandchildren, Erin M. Yesenosky, wife of Steven Stackhouse, Mineral Point; Andrew Kassick and wife, Rachel, Alex Kassick, both of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Savannah Stackhouse, both of Mineral Point and Andrew Jonathan Jr.; several nieces and nephews and special niece, Mary Ann Hicks.

Pearl was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration. She liked to cook and bake and will always be known for her baked beans recipe. Pearl enjoyed crocheting and loved to spend time with her great-grandchildren, especially Lauren and Savannah “Pearl’s girl.”
