Paulette B. Szwast

SZWAST, Paulette B., 67, of East Taylor Twp. Died August 18, 2022 at home. Born December 1, 1954 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Joseph S. and Dorothy M. (Lebosky) Barbus. Also preceded in death by husband, Thomas J. “Teke” Szwast; Sisters, Barbara J. Barbus, Elayne M. Barbus, Melanie Barbus and Joyce L. Barbus. Survived by son Zachary J. (Amber and Olivia Kuzio) Szwast; Sister of Susan (Robin) Dietz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nephew. A 1972 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. Paulette was retired from Cambria County Assistance Office. She was known for her fun-loving, upbeat personality and unique fashion.  Paulette greatly enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her fur babies. Family and friends received 11 am to 1 pm time of service Saturday Aug. 27, 2022 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St. Conemaugh. Rev. Walter Startzel, officiating.
