Yackulich, Paul,” Big Butch”`, 86, of Parkhill. Died Feb. 1, 2017 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born April 6, 1930, in Conemaugh. Son of the late Michael and Anna (Berzonsky) Yackulich. Also preceded in death by siblings; George, John, Charlie, Michael, Anna Kopyt and Mary Partsch; daughter in law, Wanda (Faust) Yackulich. Survived by wife of 59 years, Dolores G. (Pountney); children, Paul, Barbara, wife of Alby Allison, Sharon, wife of Eric Miller and Sandra, wife of Jay Denton; grandchildren, Eric, Amanda (Justin) Dutko, and Jessica; Lori (Michael) Hill, and Mark; Noah Paul and Sarah Jane; Kaitlyn and Jacob; great grandchildren, Kurtis, Joey, Emma and Trenton Paul; Logan and Cooper. Brother of Helen (Mickey) Margetan, Dorothy Rosenbaum, Betsy (Sonny) Cekada, Irene (Red) Freidhoff and Donald (Donna) Yackulich. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Army Veteran of Korean War. Retired with 35 years’ service at Wheel Plant Division, Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Also worked for 60 years with East Taylor Twp. starting at age 16, and Ribblett Bus Lines. Member of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Conemaugh and Parkhill American Legion. Paul was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. Friends received 12-8 PM Sunday at Baker-Harris Funeral Home, Conemaugh, where Parastas will be held Sunday evening. Brief prayers at 9:30 AM Monday followed by Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Fr. Robert F. Oravetz, officiating. Interment at church cemetery.
