Wingard, Paul G., 75, of Elton. Passed away Oct. 3, 2013, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Mar. 11, 1938, in Johnstown. Son of the late Paul N. and Gladys R. (Weaver) Wingard. Also preceded in death by mother and father-in-law, Bernard G. and Violet M. Neff; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Perry Zarefoss; and brotherâin-law William Erickson. Survived by wife of 52 years, former June Neff; children, Dana and fiancée, Barry Himes, Johnstown; Kevin (Connie), of York; Kerry, Pittsburgh; and Michelle (Marc) Myers, Sidman; grandchildren, Eric, Vinny, Jenna, Katelyn, Jacob, Brayden and Caleb; great granddaughter, Lilly; sisters, Donna Neff and Dorothy Erickson and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a retired truck driver for W.C. McQuaide, Inc. and was a member of Elton United Methodist Church. He loved his black and gold and was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. But most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Paul was loved by all who knew him and was best known for his big heart, big smile and big laugh. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at Elton U.M. Church. Pastor Wayne Cleary, officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family suggests donations to Elton U.M. Church, Arbutus Park Manor or the American Heart Assoc. in memory of Paul.
