Ream, Paul Raynor, “Speedy”, 98, of Richland Twp. Died Jan, 23, 2017, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Nov. 27, 1918, in Johnstown. Son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Dora (Hoffman) Ream. Also preceded in death by wife, Edith Sleek; son, Joe “Chip” Ream; siblings, John and Donald Ream, Esther, Nina Belle and Norma Ream, and Norine Karoly. Survived by daughter Janet, wife of Dennis Sawyer, Summerhill; Daughter in law, Shirley Ream, New Paris, PA; and grandchildren; Thomas (Beth) Sawyer, Katie Beckner, Jodi (Jesse) Stratton, Kimberly (JD) Petrarca; and Jt Ream; and 7 great grandchildren.  Army Air Corps Veteran of WW II. Retired electrician with I.B.E.W., Local #5, Pittsburgh. Paul worked for Reese & Bernard Electric and also Church & Murdock Electric. Member of Elton Zion United Methodist Church. Private family viewing and service with military Rites.  Burial at Fishertown Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Elton Zion U.M. Church or The Christian Home of Johnstown in memory of Paul.
