Pasternak, Paul, 86, of Richland. Died Dec. 8, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 23, 1927, in Johnstown. Son of the late John and Mary (Spisak) Pasternak. Also preceded in death by brothers, John, Andrew and William. Survived by wife of 62 years, Mary Jane (Hrabosky); and daughters, Linda, wife of Michael Prozialeck, Richland; and Pamela, wife of John Mehall, Johnstown; grandchildren, Rebecca Reed, Kristen and Kelly Prozialeck. Brother in law of Mike and Mary Ann Hrabosky. Also nieces and nephews. Graduate of Johnstown High School and the University of Pittsburgh. WW II and Korean War Navy Veteran. Retired engineer with Penelec with 38 years service. A registered engineer in the State of Pennsylvania having served as chairman of IEEE and member of Amperes Club. Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Westmont and former member of St. Johnâs Lutheran Church, Franklin St. where he served on church council. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Rev. Ronald B. Reed, officiating.
