Patricia L. Smith

 SMITH--- Patricia Louise (Harmon), 89, Johnstown, Pa, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2020 at St. Jude’s Haven, Johnstown, Pa. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on April 5, 1931 daughter of William E. and Rose M. (Kielczewski) Harmon. Preceded in death by natural father, William Harmon, husband A. Dale Smith, father, Patrick J. Joyce, mother, Rose M. Joyce, sister, Judith Adams, and beloved grandson, Christopher Norton. She is survived by daughter, Sue Ann Norton, CT and sons, Jeffrey D Smith and wife, Miriam, NC, Douglas D. Smith, Johnstown; and grandchildren; Candace Norton, Caleb Norton, Karen Stevens and husband Nate, Nicole Elliott and husband Scott, Derek Smith, Kelsey Siehl and husband Kory; great grandchildren, Logan Elliott and Holly Norton; brother, Richard Joyce and wife Carol; brother-in-law, Jerry Wayne Adams and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and Seton Hill College School of Nursing. Patricia was a Registered Nurse, she is also survived by her friends and coworkers of  the former Lee Hospital Recovery Room. Mom was a member of St. Benedict Church, her faith was important to her. Mom was a loving and caring mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with and cooking and baking for her children and grandchildren. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Commital, St. Petka Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Benedict Church, in memory of Patricia L. Smith.
