Owens – Patricia A. “Patty”, 52, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016 at her residence. Born on September 21, 1964 in Johnstown, daughter of John F. and Rita M. (Gallegher) Owens. Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jack Nelson; sisters, Cathy Lovejoy and Joanne Owens; father-in-law, Alex Lermineau Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Alex Lermineau III, Johnstown; children, Stephanie, wife of Micheal Winkelman, Roy P. Hillegass Jr. and his fiancée, Breanna Hess, Rita A. Fournier, Tiffany Saracena and her fiancé, Manny Nelson, and Ryan S. Hillegass Sr., married to the former Samantha Pritt; 17 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Dorothy Lermineau; siblings, Denise Owens, Rita (Ray) Wilson, Shirley (James “Jim”) Louchart, John (Bertha “Bert”) Owens Jr., Gregory “Buck” Owens, and Thomas (Mindy) Owens; sisters-in-law, Barbara Conley, Dorothy (Scott) Zimmerman, Zelda Lermineau, and Sally (James) Martin; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Vicki) Lermineau, Robert (Brandon) Lermineau, and Jim Lovejoy and numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was employed as a nurse’s aide at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for several years. She was a member of the Conemaugh-Franklin American Legion, Post #633, Ladies Auxiliary. Patty enjoyed BINGO, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. She especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. on Monday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Donnie Trotz officiating.
