Olga Butts

Butts – Olga, 86, Franklin Borough, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2015 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born on November 17, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of Eli and Anna Babics. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Don, Mike, Delores Holtsman, Walter, and Ruby Incardona. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William G. Butts, Franklin Borough; sons, Douglas M., married to the former Donna M. Cunningham, Waldorf, MD, and William Jr., Franklin Borough; grandson, Daniel T., married to the former Whitney Bell, Memphis, TN; brother, George, Mercer, PA and several nieces and nephews. Olga was a graduate of Franklin High School and later graduated as a Registered Nurse, from the Conemaugh School of Nursing. She retired from Johnstown Community Nursing Service, where she was employed as a Registered Nurse. Olga showed a great deal of pride and dedication in her 41 years of nursing. She was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed cooking and fishing with her husband, Bill. Olga loved her entire family, especially her grandson, Daniel. At Olga’s request there will be no public viewing. Private funeral service will be held at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, Very Reverend Dragan Zaric. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to Make-A-Wish® America, 4742 N. 24th Street, Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016-4862 in memory of Olga.
