Nellie A. Shultz

Shultz, Nellie A., 90, of Geistown Borough, died Nov. 27, 2014, at Conemaugh Medical Center.  Born on January 16, 1924, in Strongstown. Daughter of the late Frank and Carrie (Ondriezek) Strong. She is also preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold R. Shultz; daughter, Darlene Shultz and a brother, Herbert Strong.  Survived by sister-in-law, Faye Palinkas, Jerome; nieces, nephews and care givers, Lester and Dorie Good. Member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Upper Yoder Township. Nellie was a 1942 graduate of Pine Township High School, Heilwood, PA. She retired after 20 years of service from the Franklin Local Union #2635 where she was employed as an Office Manager. Nellie was a member of the Geistown Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary and former Geistown-Richland Lioness Club. Friends will be received from 2-6 P.M. Sunday and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland with the Rev. John Weaver, officiating.
