Nancy A. Hill

HILL---Nancy A. Hill, 86, Richland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 18, 2023. Born May 24, 1937, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Margaret (Himmel) Parker. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Donald E., brothers, John Parker and wife, Katie; and James Parker. Survived by Jeffrey Hill, married to the former Debra Wagner, Johnstown; and Terry Hill, married to the former Jill Wissinger, Geistown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Hill) LaCour and husband, Steven, Dover, PA; Keri (Hill) Dale and husband, Robert, Johnstown; Emily Hill, Mount Pleasant, SC; and Ian Hill, Geistown; great-grandchild, Logan LaCour. Also survived by sister-in-law, Mary Parker, Delaware. Nancy was a member of Arbutus Church of the Brethren. She loved doing word searches, spending time with her family and listening to the music of Daniel O’Donnell. She was very instrumental in doing homework with her grandkids before their sporting events, in their younger years. At Nancy’s request, funeral services are private to the family. Committal, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Nancy A. Hill.
