Nancy Gula

Gula, Nancy, 90, of Franklin Borough, went to be with the Lord on January 01, 2025, at the Villa Crest. Born on September 5, 1934 in Johnstown. Daughter of George and Mary (Pjevec) Raslovich. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Gula, sister, Florence Kuruzovich, and brother, George Raslovich.  She is survived by daughter Daniella, wife of Wayne Fisher, Cincinnati, OH; grandsons, Andrew and Joshua Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Nancy attended Franklin Borough High School and retired from Bestform Industries where she was a seamstress and member of ILGWU for over 30 years. Nancy was also a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church and the Mother’s Club/Kolo. Over the years, she enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband, spending time with her family and friends, rooting for Penn State, and was the life of the party at the Villa Crest.  Friends received 4-7pm Wednesday, January 08, 2025, at the Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, Conemaugh, where Pomen will be held at 6pm. Funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 09, 2025, at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. Fr. Dragon Vuckovic. Committal at St. Petka Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church or to a charity of one's choice in memory of Nancy.
