Nancy A. Boes

Boes – Nancy A., 90, went to be with the Lord at her daughter’s home in Youngsville, NC on August 27, 2018. Born on October 11, 1927 in Dunlo, PA, daughter of the late Roy S. and Helen (Gillen) Buck. Also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert J. Boes; sisters, Mary Buck, Betty Brown, Jane Katrancha and brother Tom Buck. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas of Geistown; and MaryAnn Barnes (Danny) of Youngsville, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Nancy was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Nancy’s second love to her husband Bob, was her love for the game of tennis which she played for close to 50 years. Friends received 3-7 PM Friday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Fr. David S. Peles, officiating. Committal at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
