Green, Milton L., 78, of Johnstown, PA, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2011 at his residence. He was born on January 6, 1933 in Hollsopple, PA. Son of the late Benjamin and Catherine (Beegle) Green. He is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Milt Blough, 5 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan (Molnar) Green; son, Thomas Green, Columbus, OH and a daughter, Gina (Green) wife of Dave Resa, Johnstown, Pa; grandchildren, Cara wife of Brian Rau, Irvine, CA, Christopher Teichert, Highland CA., Andrew Resa, Johnstown , PA. Julia, Jacob and George Green all of Columbus, OH. A great granddaughter, Ellie Rau, Irvine, CA; brother, Benjamin Green married to the former Alice Fisher, Mustang, OK; sisters-in-law, Arlene Green, Pittsburgh, PA, Jackie wife of Thomas Munoz, Monrovia, CA and Linda Sukut, Laguna Niguel, CA. He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Milt was a 1952 graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School, where he earned a football scholarship to attend Tampa University in Florida. He moved from PA in 1958 to California and returned to Pa after his retirement from the Retail Clerk’s Union. Milt loved sports! He was an avid golfer for 32 years with the same foursome. He helped create the Galaxy Little League in West Covina, CA., which he coached and managed for several years.  In the years after his retirement he was on local bowling leagues, enjoyed playing cards with the guys, and golfing in tournaments. A private memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. David McGee officiating. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Richland Cemetery.
