Mildred “Midge” A. Stull, age 88, of Richland, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on October 15, 2022, at Windber Woods.
Born July 1, 1934, in Johnstown, she is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Stella (Bloom) Stull.
Midge was employed as a seamstress at several sewing factories. She retired from Rebekah Manor as a Nurses Aide. Midge enjoyed going for walks in the woods, Polka dancing, bowling, and was an avid animal lover. She was known for her kind loving heart, generosity, sense of humor and feistiness! Midge will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Paros and two brothers, Dwane and Don Stull; five in-laws and long time friend, Barry Smith.
She is survived by her siblings, Dorothy Bell, Harold Stull, Lois (Richard) Gallus, Irene (Joseph) Miller, Sondra Garb, Gary (Karen) Stull, Sharon (fiancé Dennis Apple) Stull; sister-in-law, Janet Stull; beloved nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staffs at Windber Woods and Windber Hospice for the excellent, loving, kind care given to Midge while in their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Dr. Ext, Johnstown, PA 15904 or Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave, Windber, PA 15963.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10-11 am with a Celebration of Midge’s Life at 11:00 am with Rev. Cecil Lohr, officiating, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Johnstown, PA. Inurnment will follow in Richland Cemetery. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
