Luther - Mildred F., 99, of Richland Twp., went to be with her Lord and Master on April 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Mildred was born February 10, 1917, in Friedens, PA, Somerset County, daughter of Adam J. and Charlotte (McClelland) Berkebile. She was preceded in death by parents, first husband, Clyde R. Schrock, second husband, William C. Luther, daughter Darlene Betar, sister Gladys (Hiner) Woods, brothers Vernon Berkebile and Don Berkebile, and three sisters and a brother in infancy. Survived by loving daughter, Camilla DeMauro of Trafford; son-in-law, Walter (Herk) Betar of Altoona; step daughters, Sandy (and Earl) Mostoller of Somerset and Barbara Hawkins of Fallbrook, CA. Grandchildren, Doug Betar, Ashley DeMauro, Brad (and Mary) Mostoller, Derek (and Danielle) Mostoller, Deborah Cessna, Dion Cessna and Craig Hawkins. Great grandchildren, Ross and Anna Betar, Delaney Mostoller and Cory Hawkins. Sister-in-law, Verda (Waters) Berkebile. Also many nieces and nephews of the Berkebile, Luther and Schrock families. Mildred was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She made her home at Arbutus Park Retirement Community since 1995 and enjoyed all life had to offer there. Private viewing and interment at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset, PA. A public celebration of life service will be held at Arbutus Park Retirement Community Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, with the Rev. David Streets officiating. Contributions in memory of Mildred may be given to Arbutus Park Retirement Community, West Hills Community Church in Westmont or Emmanuel Baptist Church in Richland.
