Price, Mary Ellen, “Cookie”, 90, East Taylor Township. Died September 1, 2012, at home. Born March 21, 1922, in Echo. Daughter of the late Frank and Elevia (Horner) Santa. Also preceded in death by husband, Chester “Peck” Price, Sr.; brothers, Samuel and Francis and sister, Kathleen. Survived by children; Chester Jr. “Jug”, married to Kathleen (O’Neill), Summerton, SC; and Carol, wife of Vaughn “Ted”Carpenter, East Taylor Twp.; grandchildren, James Price, Joel Carpenter and Dawn (Price) Penrod; and great grandchildren, Cassandra, Aaron, and Caleb Price and Nathan Penrod. Also survived by brothers and sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduated from Franklin High School. Formerly employed at Bestform Foundations. Member of Vinco Brethren Church, Jackson Twp. Senior Center, Parkhill American Legion Auxiliary and YMCA.  She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. “Cookie” was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. Family and friends received from 2-8 pm Tuesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St. Conemaugh, Pa where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday.
