Mary F. Mangus

Mangus, Mary F., 92, Bedford, formerly of Richland and Westmont. Passed away on Aug. 31, 2014, at Donahue Manor.  Born on June 3, 1922, in New Paris. Daughter of the late Ralph and Luella (Blackburn) Fetter. Also preceded in death by daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law Dr. Roger Morrell.
Survived by her loving husband, Donald A. Mangus,  Elmcroft Senior Living Center, Martinsburg, WV; children, Gary married to the former Anne Kennedy, Harpers Ferry, WV; Glen married to the former Diane Way, York; Peggy wife of Ron Johnson, Bozeman, MT; and Fred and wife Theresa, Riverside, CA; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Fetter, Middletown and Jerry Fetter, New Paris; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a 1940 graduate of Dale High School. She retired from Lee Hospital where she was employed in the Medical Records Department. Mary was a member of the Homestead Avenue United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge and pinochle player and enjoyed reading. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane ( Richland), Johnstown, PA 15904, where service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Rev. Emily Byrd, officiating. Private inurnment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.
