Mary Lopresti

Lopresti, Mary, 88, of Geistown. Died Dec. 20, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 19, 1924 in Windber. Daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Wojtowicz) Kooney. Also preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Joseph A. Lopresti; siblings, Catherine Knapp, Michael, Joseph and Andrew Grisin, Victoria Domanoski and Stanley Kooney. Survived by daughters; Deborah, wife of Charles Cowan, Johnstown; Rita, wife of James Hagedorn, Cherry Hill, NJ; Lorena Nadine Golias, Johnstown; and Molly, wife of Mike Strayer, Elkton, MD. Grandchildren; Theresa, Leona, Bob, Christopher, Kelly, Tony and Jimmy. Sister of Caroline Kleban, Windber. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown; Senior Choir, St. Anne’s Christian Mothers, Columbian Circle and Oakland Home & Garden Club. Mary worked with her family at Lopresti Market in Geistown. Friends received 2-6 PM Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for Deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday at St. Benedict Church. Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal at St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
