Good – Mary Jean, 89, Oakland, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2016 at her son’s residence in Roxboro, NC. Born on August 11, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of Arthur and Agatha (Moehler) Diefenbach. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert G. Good; brother, Barry; and sister-in-law, Shirl Diefenbach. She is survived by her loving children, Glenn A., married to the former Deborah L. Carosi, Roxboro, NC, and Colleen A., wife of Rex N. Bull, Austin, TX; grandchildren, Carrie A., wife of Sean Weisenberg, Princess Ann, MD; David J. (Eva) Bull, Austin, TX; and Tyler R. (Samantha) Bull, Waco, TX; great grandson, Brennan J. Bull; brother, Robert Diefenbach, Richland Township and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was a graduate of Dale High School and later graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed at Conemaugh Hospital as a registered nurse for many years and later for Karl Stine, MD in Cresson, PA. Jean was a member of the Scalp Level Chucrh of the Brethren. She was also a member of Oakland Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. Jean enjoyed square dancing, camping, crafts, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She loved spending time with her entire family, especially her grandchildren and this year watching her great grandson, Brennan. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7th, at Scalp Level Church of the Brethren with Rev. Ronald J. St. Clair officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to either the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680 North Canton, OH 44720 or to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016, in memory of Jean.
