Mary R. Furfari

FURFARI – Mary R. “Mutsie”, 75, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, December 25, 2014.  Born February 22, 1939, daughter of Domenico and Margaret (Pollino) Furfari.  Preceded in death by parents;  brother, Peter and brother-in-law, Ron Chero.  Survived by sisters:  Agatha Chero;  Theresa;  and Rose, married to Robert Sida;  and brothers:  Joseph, married to former Debbie McMillian and Domenick, married to former Gloria Rock. Also survived by sister-in-law, Mary K. Furfari; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary was formerly employed by The Bali Bra Factory in Johnstown and New Jersey and later by JC Shoe Factory in Johnstown.  Mary was a fun-loving person with a warm smile to whom family meant the world. She will always be remembered for her delicious baking.  Mary enjoyed making cookies for family weddings.  She was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM Monday. Very Rev. James Crookston, Pastor.  Friends received from 2 to 8 PM Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where Vigil service will be held.
