Coy, Mary Louise (Dremely), 81, of East Conemaugh Borough, peacefully slipped into God’s hands, surrounded by her loving family on January 23, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on July 11, 1931 in East Conemaugh Borough. Daughter of Frank and Anna (Strasizar) Dremely. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Dr. Michael W. Coy Jr.; siblings, Rudy, Victor, Frank Jr., and Josephine Dremely and William, Margaret, Shirley and Joan Hornick. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Michael W. “Mickey” Coy Sr., East Conemaugh; sons, Steven J. Married to the former Rhonda Crist, Lawrence J. married to the former Rosalie Weimer; daughter-in-law, Janet (Kosarych) Coy; 7 grandchildren, Mary, Helen, Carli, Emily, Natalie, Jessica, and P.F.C. Jason; 2 great grandchildren, Nevin and Kyra and special family members, Wendy, Alexandra, and Caleb. Also survived by her loving brother, Joseph Dremely and sister, Helen (Hornick) Diehl and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary attended East Conemaugh High School. She was a former Girl Scout Leader in East Conemaugh. Mary retired from the former Quality Inn, Richland Township, where she was employed as the Manager. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, East Conemaugh, where she volunteered often with their fund raisers. Mary enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her hospitality to those who traveled from near and far. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her family was the love of her life, and she loved to be surrounded by children. Mary was known to those who loved her as, “Baba”. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Friday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where Parastas will be sung at 3:45 P.M. Funeral service will begin at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home and continued immediately at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, The Very Rev. Arch Priest George Johnson. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church Cemetery. On line condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
