Mary Jane Brandle

Brandle – Mary Jane, 94, Millington, MI, formerly of Geistown, passed away March 27, 2017 at the home of her youngest son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Penny. Born March 1, 1923 in Johnstown to the late Bernard and Wilhelmina (Geiser) Sedlmeyer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John; children, Dennis, Dianne, and Bonnie; sisters, Eileen and Donamae and brothers, Bernard and Thomas. Jane is survived by her children, Bernard ‘Buck’, married to Diane, Columbiaville, MI, Denese, wife to Brian Atkins, Windber, John “Jack”, married to Malinda, Thackerville, OK, and Richard married to Penny, Millington, MI; sister, Mildred “Mickey” Perry, Windber; grandchildren, Danny, Jason, Shawn, Joshua, Aaron, Marianne, Richard Joshua and Heather; great grandchildren, Shane, Jasmine, Kalie, Jennifer and Miranda, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was a member of SS. Charles and Helena, Clio, MI. She also loved playing cards, crocheting and working puzzles.  Jane loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal at St. Joseph Cemetery. Family suggests donations be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, in memory of Mary Jane.
