Mary Ann Donate

Donate, Mary Ann, 96, of Geistown. Died April 25, 2023 at home. Born June 28, 1926, in Portage. Daughter of Dominick and Carmella (Casale) Bellvia. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Victor J. Donate, brother, Tony Bellvia and sister, Viola Mutch. Survived by these children, Jacqueline Donate – Miller, married to Ernest Miller, Augustine V. married to the former Brenda Baumgardner, Tina Donate of Cranston, RI, Victor A. married to the former Teresa Pacecca, Seattle WA, Teresa (Terri) wife of Charles (Chuck) Arnone Owners of T N C’s, Johnstown, and David Donate Owner of The Orchard and his partner Lisa Rager. Also 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great – great grandchild. Special life-long friend Ursula Cominsky. Also Survived by Niece, Marie Jo Plummer, and several other nieces and nephews. Retired owner of the Orchard Hotel (1969 - 2003). Lifelong Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Member of the Voter Hall of Fame for over 50 consecutive years of voting. Avid card player  and bird watcher. The Family would like to thank her caregivers and Windber Hospice. Friends received Wednesday May 3^rd from 3pm to 7pm at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Church, Geistown Thursday May 4^th at 10am. Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor.
