Marjorie Lynch

Lynch - Marjorie, 93, formerly of New Florence, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2019 at Rosewood Personal Care Home, Richland. Born on March 16, 1926 in New Florence, PA, daughter of James and Myrtle M. (Robinson) Lynch. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Matilda Jean Simpson and brothers, John S. and Alexander M. Lynch. She is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marjorie was a graduate of New Florence High School. She was a member of New Florence Trinity Presbyterian Church; Order of the Eastern Star, Anna L. Windolph Chapter #495, Johnstown, and the Order of Amaranth. Marjorie retired from Bestform after 32 years of service as a seamstress. She enjoyed genealogy and putting family photo albums together. She loved the outdoors, her pet dogs and cats, and took pride in her Christmas cactuses and African violets. Marjorie was an avid radio listener and kept up to date with politics and sports. Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Rob Osborn officiating. Private burial will be at West Fairfield Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to either Rosewood Personal Care Home, 122 Carwyn Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904 or to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Marjorie.
