Marguerite R. Brosig

Brosig – Marguerite R., 94, Richland, went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born on June 29, 1924 in Johnstown, daughter of Charles F. and Mary V. (Lupek) Saintz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 2nd mother, Elizabeth (Lupek) Saintz.  She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Bernard C. Brosig Jr.; sons, Bernard III (Linda) Brosig, Michael (Robbie) Brosig, and Lawrence (Cindy) Brosig; grandchildren, Brian Brosig, and Scott (KerryAnne) Brosig, Michael (Kelly) Brosig, Sean (Natalie) Brosig, Laura (Erika) Brosig, Melanie (Mark) Elias, Joseph (Tiffany) Brosig,  and Bradley Brosig; great grandchildren, Blake and Kody Brosig, Paige and Ashley Brosig, Maya Moritz, Hayden and Landon Brosig, Claire and Chase Elias, and Jackson and Avery Brosig; sister-in-law, Delores Gunsallus, and several nieces and nephews. Marguerite was a 1942 graduate of Ferndale High School. She was employed as a Postal Delivery Clerk in the interoffice mail department at Bethlehem Steel. Marguerite was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing the organ and playing cards. Marguerite loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family would like thank the staff at Cross Roads Arbutus Park Manor for their loving care. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
