Margaret Mary Ribblett

Ribblett, Margaret Mary, 83, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2012 at her daughter’s residence. She was born on June 27, 1929 in Nottingham, England. Daughter of Henry and Annie E. (Roberts) Marshall. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dennis and Donald and her husband, Bruce E. Ribblett Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Brian E. (Pensri) Ribblett Sr., Hampton, VA, Cheryl A. (Hamid) Shirzad, Orlando, FL, Susan M. (Jody) Zabala, Richland Township and Stuart E. Ribblett, Houma, LA; grandchildren, Brian, Brett, Robert, Daniel, Adam, Kate, Conner, and Sarah; great grandchildren, Becca, Samantha, Brian, and Alyvia and several nieces and nephews. Margaret came to the United States on October 17, 1951 as a war bride. She retired from Arbutus Park Manor where she was employed in the Dietary Department. Margaret enjoyed traveling, cooking, singing, and spending time with her dogs. She loved spending time with her entire family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. At Margaret’s request there will be no public viewing. Private entombment will be held at the convenience of the family at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive  Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Margaret.
