Margaret J. Meyers

Meyers, Margaret J., “Peg”, 85, of Richland Township, passed away on January 28, 2011 at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born on August 9, 1925 in Johnstown. Daughter of John and Anne (Gredesky) Fabry. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel “Don” D. Meyers and sisters, Mary Venglarchik, Ann Miller, and Helen Rooney. She is survived by her loving daughters, Peggy J. wife of Constant Percosky, Omaha, NE, Cynthia L. wife of Mark L. Flynn, Richland Township; son, Daniel D. married to the former Patricia A. Bailey, Beaver, PA; grandchildren, C.J. Percosky, Carter Lake, IA, Amy Percosky, Huntsville, TX and Erin B. Flynn, Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church; Richland Mall Rise and Stride Club; Richland Senior Center, Community Arts Center and a former member of St. Benedicts Choir. Margaret enjoyed painting, camping and traveling. Friends received from 3-7 P.M. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Johnstown, PA where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Rev. Father David Peles. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery.
