Margaret C. Lefchick

Lefchick – Margaret C. “Peg”, 78, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2023.  Born on November 18, 1944 in Johnstown, daughter of Stephen M. and Margaret (Telenko) Dill. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laura A. Lefchick, and sister, Sarah.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard J. Lefchick; Theresa L. Lefchick, Johnstown; grandchildren, Stephanie and Tyler Lefchick, both of Johnstown; great granddaughter, Shaelynn Lefchick; brothers, Stephen (Ann) Dill, Lawrenceville, GA, and George (Bonnie) Dill, Johnstown; sisters, Susan (John) Shaffer, Johnstown, and Cathy Hartless, Boswell and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a 1963 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. She enjoyed gymnastics and loved to play softball during her school years. Margaret met Richard Lefchick at a coffee shop in Jerome in 1963. She and Richard then got married May 9, 1964. Margaret spent her time as a mother and a wife(59years) she loved to dance to polka and travel with her loving husband Richard.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be held At the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
