Margaret E. Hanley

Hanley, Margaret E., “Marg”, 83, of Sidman, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on April 21, 1929 in Johnstown. Daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Boxler) Kessler. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bernard and Joseph and sisters, Leona Jones and Mary Eckenrod. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George F. Hanley, Sidman; sister, Agnes Urbassik, FL; brother, Herbert (Eva) Kessler, Johnstown; brother-in-law, Walter Jones, FL and 54 nieces and nephews. Margaret was a 1947 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Margaret enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, knitting, reading and was a great cook. She was a family historian who shared many stories with her family. Margaret loved family get togethers and winning at pinochle. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
