Yoder, Mabel M. 90, of Johnstown. Died November 18, 2011, at the Presbyterian Home. Born Mar. 12, 1921, in Beaverdale. Daughter of the late Clair M. and Mercedes M. (Detandt) Yoder. Also preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Jack Yoder and sisters, Alice Berkebile and Irene Yoder. Survived by sister, Shirley, wife of Harry Swain, Richland; sister in law, Barbara Yoder, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mabel graduated from Cambria-Rowe Business College and attended Nyack College in New York. Retired in 1984 as a secretary from former Penelec. Member of Faith Chapel. She taught Sunday School for many years and was formerly very active at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Mabel was a sweet and gentile soul who processed a tremendous Christian faith. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Monday. Rev. Carl Irwin and Rev. Andrew Taylor, Pastor, Officiating. Private Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. (Online condolences may be posted at www.wharrisfuneralhome.com)
