M. Faye Hagerich

Hagerich, M. Faye, 84, of Jackson Township, passed away on December 25, 2016, at Cambria Care Center. Born on February 28, 1932 in Sidman. Daughter of O.J. and Elizabeth (Brewer) Shaffer. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Anne Shaffer and a brother, Samuel L. Shaffer. Survived by loving husband of 60 years, Paul T. Hagerich; son, Jeffrey P. married to the former Denise Podrasky, East Taylor Township; daughter, Lori A. wife of William Frazier, Fairfax, VA; granddaughters, Kelly N. and Bethany A. Frazier, Fairfax, VA; sister, Maxine Hale, Richland Township; brother, Jay, Brooksville, FL and several nieces and nephews. Faye was a 1950 graduate of Adams Township High School. She was employed as a secretary at New York Life Insurance Company. Faye was a member of the Vinco Brethren Church and Silver Sneakers. She enjoyed playing Pinochle. Friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. om Wednesday and from 9 A.M.  until time of service at 10 A.M. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Wes Lewis officiating. Private interment will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2016 Sunshine Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15905-1712 in memory of Faye.
