Johnson, Luevenia, 86, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on November 14, 1928 in Richmond, VA. Daughter of Herman and Hazel (Hatchette) Spencer. Preceded in death by daughter, Carmen Spencer; and brother, Roy Spencer and sister, Dora Spencer-Richardson. Survived by daughter, Terrie Cashaw; grandchildren, Carmen and husband Anton McBride of OâFallon, IL, Daryl and Devon Cashaw of Johnstown, great grandchildren, Iesha Ferguson, Antonelle and Sydney McBride, Dakira and Malik Cashaw; several great-great grandchildren; brothers, Herman âSonnyâ and Boris âRooseveltâ Spencer; devoted niece, Gail Richardson-Jackson and several other nieces and nephews. Luevenia was a teacher with the Greater Johnstown School District for many years. She was an avid reader and a no-nonsense woman, who enjoyed talking about her family history as well as surviving two of the Johnstown floods. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing.
