Shiley, Lucy, 82, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2014 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born on August 13, 1931 in Windber, PA, daughter of Patsy and Angeline (Leonard) Dona. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Jr. and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul J. Shiley, Richland Township; son, Thomas J., Richland Township; grandchildren, Desiree, Kelsey, Olivia, and Jessi; brothers, Joseph, (Marie), Richland Township, and Lindy, (Irma), Kansas City, MO; sisters, Connie Lenkowski, Lancaster, PA, Bernadette (Richard) Mickle, Villages, FL, and Patty Nelson, Minneapolis, MN; special daughters-in-law, Sally Drager and Pam Shiley both of Johnstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucy was a 1949 graduate of Richland High School. She was employed at St. Benedict Catholic School for 12 years as the manager of the cafeteria. Lucy was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed casino trips, cruises with her family, and bowling for the St. Benedicts Ladies Duck Pin Bowling League. Lucy loved her entire family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. At Lucyâs request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 2 P.M. on Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
