Robson – Louis L., 81, of Richland Township, went to be with our Lord on January 9, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on August 4, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Clarence and Helen (White) Robson. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith A. (Kassander) Robson; daughter, Carol Gates; grandson, Stephen Kohler and brother, Clarence “Sonny” and his wife Anna Marie Robson. He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Carol (Akers-Daley) Robson, Richland Township; children, Michael J. (Lisa Y.) Robson, Johnstown, Stephen (Deborah) Robson, Blairsville, Judith L. Robson, Johnstown, Mary Beth Kohler, Johnstown, Lynn Ann Gitto, Jupiter, FL; step daughters, Christine (Fred) Fyock, Lusby, MD, and Catherine (Doug) Morgan, Dunkirk, MD; grandchildren, Stephen and Amber Gates, Lauren and Justin Demek, Taylor, Nicholas and Hayley Robson, Krista and Jordan Amigh, Kelsey and Josh Robson, Casey Ray Schonvisky, David and Daniel Morgan, Thomas Philibin, Sara Fyock, Joseph, Heather Kohler, and Sarah Beth Gitto; great grandchildren, Taleah and Jamere Jr. Christian, Brody Demek, Taliyah Gordon, Kievin and Cameron Kohler, and Riley Mae Unger; sister, Diane (Brian) Wess, Richland Township; brother, Barry Robson, Ogletown; sister-in-law, Lois (Tom) Mowry, Westmont; several nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Clarence ”Tazz” (Rose) Robson, Johnstown. Louis was a 1953 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Louis retired from Local Union #9, Brick Layers and Allied Crafts after 42 years of service as a brick layer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time outdoors, and watching Pitt Football. More than anything, Louis loved his family and will be remembered as a kind and loving man. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held in the afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Rev. William E. Rosenbaum, Pastor. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. On line condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
