Harries – Lou Anna, 94 of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2021. Born on August 18, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of Ralph B. and Edith M. (Davies) Souders. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley Harries Jr. Survived by her loving daughters, Janice Lynn, wife of Don Stoner, Meyersdale, PA, Leslie Ann, wife of Richard Eugene Worst, Economy Borough, Pittsburgh, PA; Shari Lou, wife of Terry Ray Griffith, Winfield, WV; grandchildren, Amy Lynn (Stoner), wife of Richard Lee Sines, Jr., Christopher Don Stoner, husband  of Whitney (Gotay), Justin Richard Worst, Danielle Nicole (Worst), wife of David Gofman, Daniel Ray Griffith, husband of Courtney (Gabbert) and Emily Marie Griffith; great grandchildren, MaryAnna, Christian, Oliver, and Elliott Sines, Tilly Stoner, and Silas and Ezra Griffith. Lou Anna was a 1945 graduate of Windber High School. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where she was a member of the John Gray Memorial Fellowship Sunday School Class, a member of the Florence Rowland Missionary Society, the Super Club and Church Treasurer. Lou Anna was employed for over 20 years as a packer at the former Toy Ladies Inc. She was a member and Past Matron of Johnstown Chapter #183 Order of the Eastern Star and a present member of Meyersdale Chapter #548 Order of the Eastern Star; Oriental Commandery No. 61 Knights Templar Ladies Auxiliary; Good Cheer Club, and Alma Lodge # 523 IOOF, Johnstown. Lou Anna served on the Advisory Board of Johnstown Assembly #35 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and the Johnstown Stamp Club. She enjoyed knitting, collecting coins and stamps, and playing Bingo and Mahjong at the Johnstown Senior Activities Center. She was a long-time volunteer at the Johnstown Chamber of Commerce. Her first love was spending time with her entire family and at her place on Lake Stonycreek. Lou Anna’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Amber Springs at LaurelWood Care Center and Grane Hospice for their loving care. At Lou Anna’s request, there will be no public viewing. A private Memorial Service will be held at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Carl Irwin officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Vine Street, Johnstown, PA 15901 or to the Johnstown Family Kitchen, 231 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA, 15901 in memory of Lou Anna.
