Lorraine K. Saintz

Saintz, Lorraine K. “Rainy”, 70, of Benshoff Hill. Died Jan. 12, 2017, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Mar. 3, 1946, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Luigi and Gladys (Spalazzi) Bertoncini; and sister in law, Nannette Saintz.  Survived by husband of 49 years, DeVon R. Saintz; son, Michael (Michelle) Saintz; and grandson, Brandon. Sister of Gary Bertoncini. Sister in law of Gary (Brenda) Saintz; Sally (Ed) Houghton; Becky (John) Hobor; and Cindy (Fiancee, John Campos). 1964 graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School and Conemaugh School of Nursing. She worked for 20 years at former Mercy Hospital and 10 years at Select Specialty Hospital. Member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Lorraine enjoyed traveling, especially to Gettysburg and got to fulfill her lifelong dream of visiting Italy. She also loved her dogs, Bella and Zoey. Friends received 3-7 PM Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 9:30 to time of service at 10:30 AM Monday at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
