Lois J. Wingard

Wingard, Lois J., 90, Richland, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2023. She was born on March 26, 1933 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late William J. Sr. and Milva P.(Prough) Rudge. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward J. Wingard Sr. ; sisters, Doris P. Shrader and Bonnie L. Bunn, and brothers-in-law, Wayne Shrader and James Bunn.

She is survived by her loving children, Cindy J., wife of Bill Cameron, Westmont, Edward J. Jr., married to the former Patty Mattern, Richland and Timothy J. Sr., married to the former Tess Murphy, Bedford; grandchildren, Christy J. Cameron, Misty L. McGlone, Nicole J. Williams, Edward J. Wingard III, Timothy J. Wingard Jr., and Thomas J. Wingard, and Eric J. Wingard; great grandchildren, Leighton, Camden, Emerson, Edward IV, Elizabeth, Maxwell, Betty, Emma, and Gracie; brothers, William J. Jr., married to the former Sally Parson, Richland and Rodney F., married to the former Denise Sabo, Bedford and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was a 1951 graduate of Richland High School. She retired from Penn Traffic after 20 years of service in retail sales. Lois was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors and working around the house with her late husband, Eddie. Lois loved her entire family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

At Lois’s request there will be no public viewing or service. Private entombment will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Adam Dotts officiating.
