Lois J. Scaife

Scaife – Lois J., 89, Mundys Corner, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 8, 1934 in Johnstown, PA, she is the daughter of the late Glenford Gordon and Hazel (Gray) Lenhart. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Scaife Sr.; sons, Harold E. Scaife, Jr., Kenneth Scaife and Alan Scaife; daughter, Linda Adams; grandson, Joseph Adams.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Greg Gallardy) Scaife, Glendale; son, Russel J. (Kathy) Scaife, Mineral Point; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lois was employed at Good Samaritan as a Housekeeper for 19 years. She enjoyed crochet, bowling and traveling. Lois was foster grandparent for 19 years. The holidays spent in her home with family members were her favorite memories that she cherished.

At Lois’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh.
